Fridays in Fennville Is the Place To Be

Come to Fennville any Friday and you’ll have a chance to find your flavor!  Are you drawn to locally grown, baked, or produced goods? Stop by the Farmers Market, which is located on the southwest corner of Main St and Maple, from 3-8pm every Friday from now until October 19th. You can chat with local merchants, listen to live music, or enjoy live demonstrations of various teachings!  Are you looking for something to eat? Try any one of our fine restaurants! If you wish to dine outside, check out Salt of the Earth or Steven’s Hotel, both with new outdoor seating!

If you’re a fan of the arts, check out the newest member of the Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce, 89 Art Scene, an artist cooperative gallery. Open since April 89 Art Scene is the idea of Casey Boeve, Michele Overweg Spans, and Annie Swier. With fifteen artists (and hoping to find more!), 89 Art Scene offers quality art for any budget! Browse the art cards, glasswork, pottery, photography, paintings, sculptures, textiles, books, and jewelry before, after, or while waiting for dinner! 89 Art Scene is open Fridays 3-9p, Saturdays 10a-9p, and Sundays 1-8p, and is located at 120 E Main, next to the Children’s Museum and three doors down from Salt of the Earth. Interested artists can e-mail eightynineartscene@yahoo.com
