Fennville’s Easter Egg Hunt

The Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce will once again sponsor
their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30, at 10 AM at the Fennville Elementary School. All area children ages 1-8 years are invited to attend. Pick up as many eggs as you can and see what prizes or candy are inside! Weather permitting, the event will be held outside just off the upper parking lot of the elementary school. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held indoors at the school.

There will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny - live and in person. Parents are encouraged to bring cameras and capture this fabulous event!

Many thanks to the Main St. Market in Fennville for providing all the candy, Easter Eggs and prizes and the residents of Golden Orchards for "stuffing" the Easter Eggs.

Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce Membership

The GFCC is still accepting new memberships! There is still time to become a member of the Chamber of Commerce! One of the greatest benefits of being a Chamber Member is that your business will be promoted and supported by other local Chamber members. As a Chamber member your business will be listed on the Chamber website. Your business listing will include contact information and a link to your website. Ad space on our website is also available for an additional fee. Network with other businesses, be a part of great community activities, and see what the Chamber can do for your business! Membership dues are $80 for the year.

Tuesdays in the Park Concert Series 2013 Schedule

With all the blustery weather, it might be difficult (or incredibly easy!) to picture yourself lounging in your favorite lawn chair surrounded by friends, family, and community members while listening to some talented musicians at the park. A few short months, and these visions will be reality! The Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 11th annual ‘Tuesdays in the Park’ concert series.  This year’s series will offer a wide variety of music. Concerts are at Memorial Park at 7pm.

2013 Tuesdays in the Park dates are:

  • June 11: Sister Wilene - vintage country
  • June 25: Edye Evans Hyde - jazz
  • July 9: Madcat Midnight Blues Journey - blues
  • July 23: Cabildo - Latin
  • August 6th: Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellys – bluegrass

Free to the public, the concerts are sponsored by local Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce businesses. 50/50 drawing tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5 and benefit the Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be held at the Fennville District Library.

Tuesdays in the Park Sponsorship

Thanks to the generous contributions from our membership and community businesses, our concerts are free to the public. Now is the time to pledge a sponsorship amount for this year’s series. Will you help?

As a sponsor your business will be publicly acknowledged at all five concerts, listed on the Chamber website and in a thank you ad in the Goose Gazette. Your business name will also be included on posters displayed at each concert. We encourage sponsorships to start at $100 and up.  Please make your contribution by May 1, 2013.
