Saturday, March 19th • 9 A.M. – 3 benefit The Volunteer Medical Corps

March 7th, 2011, Allegan, MI - The Allegan County United Way is pleased to announce the first annual Fennville Community Sale to be held Saturday, March 19th from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Su Casa, downtown Fennville.  Proceeds from table rentals and all goodwill donations will benefit Allegan County’s new Volunteer Medical Corps.  The VMC is a multi-agency program, led by ACUW, which will provide free medical care to Allegan County’s uninsured and underinsured residents. An initial one day Free Health Care Clinic is currently being planned for May 7th @ Fennville High School.

A limited number of tables for the Fennville Community Sale are available for rental on a first come first served basis – 4’ tables are $10, 8’ tables are $15, and booths with a 5’ round table are $20.  Tables may be reserved by contacting Ruben @ 269-561-5493 or by stopping by Su Casa during regular business hours.

The Volunteer Medical Corps is funded in part by a grant from the Michigan Community Service Commission in conjunction with the Volunteer Centers of Michigan.  Collaborative partners include, Allegan County United Way, Allegan General Hospital, Allegan Community Mental Health, Allegan County Health Department, Pathways of Michigan, and Michigan State University Extension.
