Michigan, July 19, 2011 — The Fennville Arts Movement will once again be
hosting Art Jam on Saturday August 20 in downtown Fennville. Art Jam, which is a free, all ages event,
kicks off at 10am on the corner of Fennville Street and Maple Street with live
music, art and dance.
Art Jam will
feature art and craft booths with artists doing demonstrations of their work
throughout the day. ”Art Jam was such a
great day last summer that we had to do it again this year.” states Fennville
Arts Movement co-chair, Michele Overweg Spans. The Dance Asylum from Saugatuck
will be doing a performance at 11:45 and Discovery Dance from Fennville will be
performing at 2:45. Sizzling blues
guitarist Keith Scott will be hitting the Art Jam stage at 10am to kick off the
event. Returning to Art Jam this summer
is tejano band, Nuevo Proyekto, playing at 1pm.
Closing out Art Jam will be Nathan Kalish and the Wildfire with their
energetic southern rock sounds starting at 4pm.

20 from 10am – 6pm in downtown Fennville on the corner of Fennville Street and
Maple Street. In the event of rain Art
Jam will be held in the basement of the Fennville District Library.

Fennville Arts Movement was formed in the spring of 2010 with a goal that by
promoting the arts in Fennville they would be able to aid in the growth of the
downtown and make the area a destination spot for locals and visitors
