On August 20th, the Fennville Arts Movement will host the second annual Art Jam in downtown Fennville. Sponsored by the DDA, the Arts Movement promises a fun day-long event for all ages in the community. Hailing from the Chicago area, Keith Scott kicks off the event at 10am with his bluesy guitar performance. The event continues until 6PM with performances by Saugatuck's Dance Assylum at 11:45, Holland's tejano band, Nuevo Proyekto at 1:00, Fennville's Discovery Dance at 2:45. Grand Rapids' Nathan Kalish and the Wildfire end the performances at 4:00 with their southern rock show. In addition to live performances, there will be an art project for the community to participate in, as well as live demonstrations by local artists and crafters throughout the day.
This free event is sponsored by the DDA, and is located on the corner of Maple Street and Fennville Street. In case of rain, Art Jam will be held in the basement of the Fennville District Library, located on Main Street.
Booths are still available, inquiring persons should contact Casey Boeve (616.990.3077) at firstname.lastname@example.org
