| TUESDAYS IN THE PARK FOR 2009 The Greater Fennville of Commerce is pleased to announce the 7th annual ‘Tuesdays in the Park’ concert series. This year’s series will offer a wide variety of music from honky tonk country to big band jazz. Thanks to the generous contributions from our membership and community businesses, our concerts are free to the public. Now is the time to pledge a sponsorship amount for this year’s series. Will you help? As a sponsor your business will be publicly acknowledged at all five concerts, listed on the Chamber website and in a thank you ad in the Goose Gazette. Your business name will also be included on posters displayed at each concert. We encourage sponsorships to start at $100 and up. Please make your contribution by May 1, 2009! All concerts begin at 7 p.m. at Memorial Park in downtown Fennville. Refreshments are available with proceeds going to the Chamber of Commerce scholarship fund. In case of inclement weather concerts are held downstairs in the Fennville District Library. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the music! Below is the line-up for this year. June 9 – Blue Line Riders- honky tonk country music from Chicago June 23 – Who Hit John?- bluegrass and old time music July 7 – Los Bandits de Michigan- west Michigan’s premiere Tejano band July 21 –Truth in Jazz- 17 piece big band jazz returns by popular demand August 4 – FUNKTION- funk, soul, and R & B; classics and original music Thank you in advance for your consideration in support and sponsorship of Tuesdays in the Park Concerts.
