Fennville ‘Tuesdays in the Park’ Concert Series
The Seventh Annual Fennville “Tuesdays in the Park” free community concert series continues on July 21 with The Truth in Jazz Orchestra. The concert will be held at Memorial/Paradise Park on north Maple ST, downtown Fennville. Music begins at 7PM. In case of inclement weather the concert will be held in the lower level of the Fennville District Library.
The Truth in Jazz Orchestra, fronted by West Michigan's legendary drummer Tim Froncek, is comprised of sixteen of West Michigan's top jazz musicians playing music from the classic era of the big bands up to today's best contemporary composers. The band was organized by Dave Collee, Ed Spier, and Matt Lintula, who wanted to form a group able to play pro-level big band literature, and have fun doing it! They have assembled a great group of area musicians who enjoy the challenge of playing jazz music in a large ensemble. Free to the public, the Tuesdays in the Park concerts are sponsored by the following Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce businesses and local businesses; 100 E. First St. LLC, Allegan Community Federal Credit Union, Allegan County News, Birds Eye Foods, Alexander’s Drug Store, Chemical Bank, Crane’s Pie Pantry Restaurant, Darpel and Associates Builders, Inc., Dickinson True Value Hardware, Fennville BP and Subway, Fennville Downtown Development Authority, Fennville Main Street Market, Fennville United Methodist Church, Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce, Hidden Pond Bed and Breakfast, Hilliard Lyons, Huntington National Bank, Lakeside Electric of Fennville LLC, McKellips Plumbing, Reid Ruggles Insurance Agency, Septic Tank Systems Co.
