series is scheduled for July 24 at 7:00 PM featuring The Flat
River Big Band. This popular series of community concerts is

common bond is a love of big band music.  The band is
comprised of seventeen instrumentalists and a vocalist.

The music played by the Flat River Big Band featuring Jeff
Ayres on trumpet includes the music of such big bands as:
Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, Woody Herman,
Les Brown, Benny Goodman, Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey and
